So I was chillin in front of my swimming pool. Listening to bob marley on my brand new Bose surround speaker that costed me SR2700. It was connected to my ipod where all the music was coming from.
Anyway, my father drops in and asks me about the speaker and where the music is coming from. I said, dad, all these years you have been collecting songs about om kalthoum and still so many years later I have more om kalthoum songs than you. My dad looks in astonishment and says, NO WAY!!! I said OK name a song and I will play it for you right here right now! He gave a song. I opened youtube and looked it up, I said: woul you like to hear the tunisia concert or the egyptian concert.
He thought i was joking. I told dad Om Kalthoums songs are all in the air around us.
When i played the songs and connected it to the speaker, my father was pleasantly surprised becuase he heard a version of the song he never heard before and he is a huge Om Kalthoum fan!
I told him, nowadays, everything is available in the air around us. There is no need to go anywhere to buy music, or watch movies, or even shop for clothes.
I see him now everyday listening to om kalthoum and his other favorite artists in the golden days through his Ipad. He found many videos he never saw before.
Technology, makes the mortal immortal !
